Sherry Chen, Shiatsu
I, Sherry Chen, came from China, one of oldest oriental ancient countries. I have completed four years of university courses in South China in the related subject of anatomy, physiology, sports health care, etc. I have worked in massage therapy for eight years. It has been my pleasure to work in the way of experiencing the combination of traditional Chinese culture and modern culture of Western countries. In 1998, I was an apprentice of Mr. Yamamoto, a famous Japanese massage therapist. Also, I have been employed by several world famous spa hotels as a massage therapist.
Originating in Japan, Shiatsu is the system of physical treatment to keep the inner body balanced and improve health care by a deep, penetrating touch on the body. Shiatsu can be traced back four thousand years; historically a combined product of ancient oriental medical theory and rich folk living tradition.
As we know, there exists a burst of "chi" spreading all channels and subsidiary channels in the human body, which are connected with "blood points." Whenever the channels and subsidiary channels are running smoothly "chi" will be smooth too. But when you are busy with your work or in a state of stress, fatigue, frustration and in-tranquil or irritated by the environment, "chi" will not be running smoothly and "chi blood" will be supplied insufficiently to your body. It is so called "chi" weak or "chi" surplus. In such cases, you will experience discomfort, pain, and a fatigued condition.
If you are experiencing these symptoms, Sherry will be the therapist you are looking for. It will be an honor and pleasure to serve and help you relieve your painful and uncomfortable condition. I can assure you that upon experiencing my fabulous therapy, you will feel self body harmony and enjoy your body freedom by standing and walking freely at your will. My services include Asia Body Work, Shiatsu (Japan style), Barefoot Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Pregnant Massage.
